Prohibited Noises
The types of prohibited noises include loud noises and continuous noises
Loud Noises
Loud noises add distress to the immediate vicinity. Any unreasonably loud, unnecessary noise which causes material distress, discomfort, or injury to persons of ordinary sensibilities in the immediate vicinity thereof is hereby declared to be a nuisance and is prohibited.
Continuous Noises
Continuous noises interfere with the enjoyment of homes. Any noise of such character, intensity, and continued duration, which substantially interferes with the comfortable enjoyment of private homes by a person of ordinary sensibilities is hereby declared to be a nuisance and is prohibited.

- Cars out of repair or overloaded
- Construction and repairs
- Exhaust
- Horns and signal devices
- Musical instruments
- Peddlers
- School and hospital signs
- Unloading operations
