Who we are and what we do
The Board of City Development was established by Ordinance December 18, 1972.
The Board of City Development consists of 5 citizens of the City of Canyon appointed by the City Commission with a two year term of office. The Board of City Development has advisory powers only and members are not deemed to be public officers or agents of the City of Canyon. This Board is a recommending board to the City of Canyon Commission for the expenditure of tax dollars towards the promotion of Canyon.
