- One story detached accessory structures used as tool or storage sheds provided the floor area does not exceed 200 square feet
- Fences not over eight feet high
- Retaining walls which are not over four feet from lowest adjacent grade to the top of the wall, unless supporting a surcharge of impounding Class I, II, or III-A liquids
- Water tanks supported directly on grade if the capacity does not exceed 5,000 gallons, and ratio of height to diameter or width does not exceed two to one
- Painting, papering, tiling, carpeting, cabinets, counter tops, and similar finish work
- Prefabricated swimming pools which are less than 24 inches deep, do not exceed 5,000 gallons and are installed entirely above ground
- Shade cloth structures constructed for nursery or agricultural purposes
- Window awnings supported by an exterior wall which do not project more than 54 inches from the exterior wall and do not require support
- Movable cases, counter and partitions not over 5' 9" in height
