The Christmas and New Year’s holidays fall on Thursday this year. The City of Canyon will be closing at noon on December 24th and will remain closed December 25th and 26th.
The Christmas and New Year’s holidays fall on Thursday this year. The City of Canyon will be closing at noon on December 24th and will remain closed December 25th and 26th. We will also be closed January 1, 2015. This will have no effect on the normal trash collection service, except that there will be no service December 25th or January 1st. Commercial pickup will run on Friday, December 26th, but there will be no residential service as the City will be closed. Hunsley Hills roll-out trash containers will be picked up on Wednesdays, both weeks, as usual. City-wide dumpster pickup will remain on the normal pickup schedule, except for the Thursday holidays mentioned above, during which there will be no service. Service will return to its normal schedule on Friday, January 2, 2015. If you have any questions please call the Public Works Department at 655-5011.
