[ARCHIVED] August Water Bill Concerns

Last month the City of Canyon converted to a new billing software.  In doing so, your last bill was based on three (3) weeks instead of the typical four (4).  Your current bill is based on August usage plus the one (1) week in July that was not billed for.  This extra week will cause most water bills to be higher than normal this month.  Next month a regular billing cycle should allow your bill to fall back to the range that you typically pay.  No bills were estimated or averaged during this billing cycle.  All meters were read by our meter readers or were obtained from a radio read system, as they are each month.  If you believe your bill in incorrect or simply need more information, please feel free to call the City of Canyon Business Office at 655-5003, option 3.
