A dance movement workshop for children and their families, inspired by Merce Cunningham.
Presented by Kevin Taylor, Company Manager - Merce Cunningham Dance Company
Participants create their own dance "events" based on their observations of movement, time and their surroundings. Chance elements are encouraged through the rolling of dice and everyone is encouraged to participate - for children ages 6 and up. Children should be accompanied by parent or guardian. Comfortable street clothes and tennis shoes are appropriate dress.
